Who we are
Adaptive Site Solutions ("we," "us") builds custom websites and apps for small businesses. We're based in California. This policy explains what information we collect when you contact us or ask for a quote, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Questions about this policy or your information? Email [email protected].
What we collect
When you fill out one of our forms
This includes our lead forms on Facebook and Instagram (Meta) and the quote request on this website. Depending on the form, we collect:
- Your name, email address and phone number
- Your business name and type of business
- Whether you have a website now
- What you want your website or app to do
- Your budget range
- Anything else you choose to tell us
When you send the quote request on this website, your answers are saved in our account with Cloudflare, our website host, so we can review them and follow up. If the form can't reach us, it offers to open your email app with your request filled in instead, and we only receive that version if you send the email.
When you email, call or message us
We keep the messages you send us and our replies, so we can follow your project.
When you visit this website
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages people view. It doesn't use cookies and doesn't follow you to other websites. We don't use advertising pixels or tracking cookies on this website. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, automatically processes technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request in order to deliver the site and protect it from attacks. Cloudflare may set a cookie that is strictly necessary for security. The site also loads its fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google's servers and shares your IP address with Google.
When you send the quote request, we use a scrambled, one-way version of your IP address to stop the same connection from sending too many requests. That record deletes itself after an hour. Requests that look automated are kept separately and delete themselves after 30 days.
The style you pick and the business name you type in the page's headline are remembered in your own browser, so they're still there if you come back. They stay on your device and aren't sent to us unless you send the quote request.
How we use your information
- To respond to your request and talk with you about your project
- To prepare quotes and proposals based on what you need and your budget
- To build, launch and maintain your website or app if you hire us
- To send you invoices and account messages if you become a client
- To keep records we need for taxes, accounting and legal reasons
- To keep this website secure and working
How we contact you
When you send us your information, you agree that we can contact you about your request by phone, text message or email. We won't add you to a marketing list without asking. If we text you, message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to stop receiving them, or email us and we'll stop contacting you.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for targeted advertising. We share information only with:
- Service providers that help us run the business, such as Meta (which delivers our lead forms), Cloudflare (website hosting and security) and our email and file storage providers. They may only use your information to provide their services to us.
- The people who build your project. Our team members and any contractors working on your site or app see the details they need to do the work.
- Authorities, when the law requires it, or when needed to protect our rights or someone's safety.
- A buyer or successor, if our business is sold or merged.
Information you submit through a Meta lead form is also collected by Meta and handled under Meta's privacy policy.
How long we keep it
We keep your information as long as we need it to respond to you and follow up on your project. If you don't become a client, we delete it within 24 months of our last contact with you, or sooner if you ask. If you become a client, we keep project and billing records for as long as you're a client and as long afterward as tax and legal rules require.
How we protect it
We store your information with providers that use encryption and access controls, and only the people working on your request can see it. No system is perfectly secure, so please don't send us passwords, payment card numbers or other sensitive details in a form or email.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us at any time to:
- Tell you what personal information we have about you
- Correct information that's wrong
- Delete your information
- Stop contacting you
Email [email protected] with your request. We may ask you to confirm your identity first, and we'll respond within 45 days. We won't treat you differently for making a request.
California residents
If California privacy law (including the California Consumer Privacy Act) applies to us, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, use and disclose; to request deletion or correction; and to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information. We do not sell or share personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of. You can make a request yourself or through an authorized agent using the email above.
Children
Our services are for businesses, and this website isn't meant for anyone under 16. We don't knowingly collect information from children. If you think a child has sent us information, email us and we'll delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your information, we'll update this page and the effective date at the top. If a change is significant, we'll make it clear on this page before it takes effect.
